GEM New Generation 120 Litre Multihandling Drums

Gem's new generation of drums are innovative and unique range developed to serve the chemical, agrichemical, food, pharmaceutical and other industries. The new 120 Litre drum shown here is manufactured from high molecular weight, High Density Polyethylene and is the first in a generation of drums which offers excellent resistance to chemicals, high impact strength and stackability in addition to innovative handling feature.

This unique feature is a multi handling facility which enables total capability and flexibility in handling and loading drums. These drums still retain the L - Ring design at the top of the drum but their excellent new multi handling feature means that they facilitate both forklift and "Parrot beak-Like" handling equipment. (see Diagram B).

Tests have shown the drum to have Drainability well within the Optimum Recommendations, allowing for less waste and greater cleaning efficiency.

  Gem's new generation complies with European standards for plastic drums of this size and design and as with all Gem products is tested and certified in accordance with U.N. recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods.
